Fixed Term - 12 months
Pay Level - $69,442 per annum

The Mara Project is a co-designed program that will support women in correctional facilities in Queensland, in particular Brisbane Women’s, Numinbah & Helena Jones Correctional Centers.
Our aim is to develop transition & engagement plans, engage support services and Build Resilience while ensuring a safe environment reducing risk for women that may result in recidivism.
You have the potential to achieve all of this as an FSG OutReach Worker for our Mara Project!
An Outreach Worker will:
- Support women transitioning from custody to the community formulated around the Critical Time Intervention Model (CTI)
- Meet with clients in custody and prioritise re-integration needs
- Formulate a Transition to Community (TTC) Plan, which is based on the client’s Star Plan and an assessment of required community links and services
- Coordinate and manage client transition to community on their day of release ensuring immediate crisis needs are addressed
- Provide intensive outreach support and assessment of resources for the transition of care to community providers
- Advocate for client with relevant services and community organizations
