Clover Program - Mental Health Carer Support
Location – Wynnum (covering Brisbane South - Wynnum, Logan, Ipswich, Gold Coast)
Full Time - 38 hours p/w
Fixed Term - ending 28th June 2018
Pay Level - $61,320 p/a

FSG Australia’s Mental Health Services Team operate to provide support and assistance to individuals and families affected by mental illness or dual disability. The programs are underpinned by our Recovery Core Beliefs and Principles of Recovery Practice Framework. We believe that recovery is a natural process and that people constantly seek to “Self Right”. Our aim is to assist people on their journey and build resilience and sustain social connectedness in their chosen community.
You have the potential to achieve all of this as a Facilitator for our Clover Program - Mental Health Carer Support Team.
Key to this is the ability to:
- Engage in research, community linking and walking alongside carers and care recipients
- Facilitate community events and planned programs for carers and carer recipients
- Work on behalf of FSG Australia in a consortia model to provide mental health carer support
- Provide administration support to maintain service provider and customer service
- Work in collaboration with coordinators to ensure smooth transition of individuals into NDIS
