You can do this as a Direct Service Employee within our Children’s program which focuses on providing interesting and engaging activities that meet the needs and interests of our customers.
We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic people who are interested in expanding their skills and experiences in working with children and young people in our vacation care program.
About you:
The position will require you to have sound knowledge and demonstrated experience with child development and young people; be encouraging of children’s and young people’s independence in their daily activities, and supportive of them in planning to meet their individual needs, abilities, preferences and future goals. You will be innovative, ready for a challenge, and have a high level of dedication for working with children and young people who may present with challenging reactions and complex needs.
The successful applicant will be energetic and engaging, be flexible in their start and finish times and able to work across a Monday to Sunday roster. Applicants must also hold a current First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain prior to commencement of employment.
